An Offering from Manjakkudi

A small village called Manjakkudi, nestled among paddy fields near Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, South India, is the janma bhumi — the birthplace — of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, one of the greatest Vedanta masters of our time. What was once an unremarkable rural village has, through Swamiji's vision, transformed into a living educational hub — with schools and colleges now serving thousands of students from hundreds of surrounding villages every year.

And here, in this sacred ground where Swamiji himself grew up, a Vedanta Study Centre has been lovingly established: Jnanapravahathe perennial flow of knowledge.

Jnanapravaha is a place of beauty, stillness, and study. Teachers who learned either directly from Pujya Swamiji or from one of his senior students regularly hold Vedanta retreats at Jnanapravaha for students from across the world, carrying forward the unbroken tradition of Advaita Vedanta. Whether you are new to Vedanta or a long-time student, Jnanapravaha is a welcoming destination — for retreat, for contemplation, and for immersion in the teachings.

Everything that is here is Iśvara.
It means, every law is a manifestation of Isvara.
Every form is the lord's form.
Dharma is not different;

it is the very manifestation of Iśvara.
