Understanding of Brahman is understanding of ātma as satyam jñānam anantam. There is no other understanding of Brahman. When this is unfolded by the śāstra, there are questions as to how it can be true. This whole book answers the questions to remove all obstacles to establish that I am satyam jñānam anantam brahma. That is why it is a very interesting work. There is only one thing that is said in this work, advayam brahma aham asmi. That is why it is Advaita Makaranda.
